I would like to upgrade PHP in the near future. Which version is supported or recommended for Hubzilla?

PHP 8.1 or better should work. I have not tested with 8.4 yet, but don't know of any incompatibilities we need to be aware of. Some new warnings will probably pop up, though.

Thank you very much for your answers. At the moment I am running PHP 8.2 which works fine. However, I have other systems installed on the server that will require a higher PHP version in the near future. I guess I will consider upgrading to PHP 8.4 right away.
