Deleted public posts still showing up in Pubstream

@!Hubzilla Support Forum I made a test account @Test for testing purposes, made few test posts then deleted them. The channel no longer shows them in the feed. But when i visit the pubstream(#^https://utsukta.org/pubstream) from my main account I can still see those deleted posts (#^https://utsukta.org/item/994c5660-54d6-4d3f-886d-14799cb16c2c, #^https://utsukta.org/item/961feab0-2a9d-4f6a-83eb-23022b38df7c).

It has been 12 days since those posts were deleted so doesnt seem like a cache issue.. Seems like a bug.

It seems as if non-deletion is limited to your own hub, i.e. its pubstream. However, it can of course also end up in public streams of other instances. It would be interesting to see whether it also disappears there after deletion.

It would therefore be interesting to see what happens on the hub of a connection where the public stream is not limited to the hub itself. The post should also appear there. It would be interesting to know whether it remains in the pubstream after you have deleted it.
I also classify the behaviour you describe as a bug.

Have just checked and can not confirm. They are removed from pubstream here.

Can you replicate and check the log?

@Mario Vavti yes it happened again, I can see a delete event being created and sent to sys@utsukta.org but no error or warning in the logs. The post is up in the pubstream while its gone from the channel.

Also interestingly i can access the deleted post via https://utsukta.org/hq/b18b1d24-b502-4492-b85e-850f3b805293 but get permission denied on https://utsukta.org/channel/test?mid=b18b1d24-b502-4492-b85e-850f3b805293

@SK for some reason the hubloc entry for your sys channel (the only recipient) is marked deleted. Hence the notifier aborts with 'no hubs'.

If you mark the hubloc entry undeleted in youf DB everything should work as expected.

Remains the question how and why it got marked deleted...

@Mario Vavti so i added the test account as connection and now the deleted post gets removed. Looks like that fixed it.

@SK you should definitely also fix the sys channel hubloc though.

@SK you can fix it manually in the DB by setting hubloc_deleted = 0 for your sys channel or let it fix automatically by visiting /fhublocs as admin. The latter will recreate all local channel hublocs though.

@SK hubloc is where the hub locations of the channels are stored. You will have an entry for each clone of your channel.
